MADE FOR SIWILAI

AT SIWILAI STORE

In the spirit of collaboration, SIWILAI has tapped its close network of friends and contemporaries to produce one-off attire and accessories, with each collaborator tipping their hat to the retail concept’s Thai roots in their own special way. All ‘Made for SIWILAI’ items will be available exclusively in-store.

Globe-trotter
Handmade in Hertfordshire, England, Globe-trotter luggage espouses the essence of luxury travel and technical craftsmanship, and is as desirable as it is durable. Each vulcanized fibreboard case takes over ten days to assemble using original manufacturing methods. SIWILAI has collaborated with Globe-trotter to produce an eighteen-inch Safari Trolley Case in ivory with caramel leather trim and a fabric lining printed in the Chao Phraya Pattern. A leather luggage tag, embossed with the SIWILAI logo, offers the perfect finishing touch.

Maison Kitsuné
Parisian music and fashion label and all-round good-time guys Maison Kitsuné have styled up their classic cotton-pique polo shirt just for SIWILAI, adding little details that have been designed and delivered with love from Paris, France to Bangkok, Thailand. The shirt collar features a red, white and blue trim, incorporating the colour combo of both countries’ national flags. In this very special edition, Kitsune’s namesake mascot, the fox, shares his precious crest space with an elephant, Thailand’s national animal. International cred meets local cool in colourful embroidery.

Head Porter
The sartorial world fell in love with this Japanese classic, specializing in stylish bags of all shapes and sizes. Head Porter has worked with street style juggernauts like BAPE and Neighbourhood, and now they're launching a unique line of their Boston Bag collection with subtle waves of SIWILAI's artistically reinterpreted Chao Phraya river illustration.

Orlebar Brown
For those who find themselves slipping from poolside to power lunch, Orlebar Brown is a practical style choice. In this case, practical isn’t a code word for hideous. Quite the opposite. These tailored pieces are comfortable, accentuate one’s assets, and are designed to make you stand out from the crowd. The limited edition SIWILAI collaboration sees the Chao Phraya River wash over these savvy shorts.

Shwood
Portland-born eyewear brand Shwood and SIWILAI see eye to eye with the idea of innovation while staying connected to their roots—collaboration only makes sense. Shwood have etched the SIWILAI logo and a Thai map into the trademark wooden frames of their Belmont series. Each pair comes with a lanyard strap and protective pouch made out of hand-made Thai fabric.

Native Sons
In their most literate of eyewear, Native Sons give a nod to rebellious writers of the twentieth century. The square-framed Salinger and the round-framed Kerouac both have new colourways: one kitted out with an electric blue front, “ศิวิไล” engraved on its grey lenses and a gold SIWILAI logo on its black arms; the second given a black front, blue arms, blue lenses and the same logo placements as the first colourway.

Olympia Le-Tan
Olympia Le-Tan’s hand-embroidered book clutches are a permanent fixture on the shelves—and arms—of any well-read fashion lover worth their Amazon account. For her collaboration with SIWILAI, the French designer weaves her needlepoint magic on Sanim Soi—a seminal, not to mention controversial, classic by one of Thailand’s most pivotal literary figures, Rong Wongsawan, addressing the theme of prostitution. Talk about a statement piece.

JBB*
Jirawat ‘Bote’ Benchakarn’s menswear label, JBB*, is the essential go-to for Bangkok fashion insiders seeking timeless tailoring with a playful twist. His take on the casual weekend tee comes in blue and features a pocket decorated with Thai fabric. For more formal dos, Bote has created a dapper double-breasted suit, fastened with pearl buttons and lined in Jim Thompson silk.
