SIWILAI Café

SIWILAI Café is the latest addition to the SIWILAI Brand, your go-to destination for tasty wholesome food and fashion. The concept is crafted with a deep-rooted appreciation for flavorful food and creative drinks served in a cozy, family-friendly setting. So whether you’ve just finished shopping at Central Embassy or updating fashion trends at SIWILAI, this is the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a selection of hearty and healthy dishes, perfectly curated to complement your ultimate retail experience.

Set on the Level 5 of one of the most luxurious malls in Bangkok, the charming space is characterized by warm, natural light and a spacious terrace overlooking the fine architecture of the British Embassy, making it the ideal all-day dining spot for both friends and families.

Shoppers can enjoy a brand new menu courtesy of New Zealand Executive Chef Blair Mathieson. The philosophy here is based on fresh, hearty and satisfying food using local ingredients. With a wide range of unique global egg dishes, power smoothie bowls, vibrant salads and tasty breads. Siwilai Café proves to be the perfect spot to fuel yourself up for the day.

The menu has an elaborate selection of egg dishes, inspired by flavours from around the world with highlight dishes including the Middle Eastern-style Eggs Shakshuka (baked eggs, tomato sugo, feta, cumin, sourdough); Eggs Cilbir (poached eggs, dill-garlic yoghurt, chilli butter, sourdough) along with all-time classics like Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale served with a SIWILAI twist.

For more health focused and energizing options go for the Fruits and Smoothie bowls like Berry Power (yoghurt, goji berry, dragon fruit, coconut, pumpkin seeds) or Green Machine (spirulina yoghurt, kiwi, apple, lime, honey, chia seeds) to guarantee that boost for your day. Alongside that you’ll also find Soups and Salads, including dishes like Slow Roasted Tomato Soup, Eastern European-style Goulash, or Cured Salmon and Crispy Potato Salad.

Looking for something a little heartier? SIWILAI Café offers a selection of decadent bread dishes, the Grilled Brioche (chicken livers, onion jam, bacon, mushroom, spinach) is not to be missed, as well as the classic oozy Croque Monsieur (grilled, leg ham, gruyere, dijon mustard). The Gnudi or the Meatball fettucine provides for a great bowl of comfort, perfectly cooked pasta with a warm sauce, served with a generous grate of grana parmesan.

Keeping things local, Siwilai Café does its own spin on classic Thai breakfast dishes including Shallow Pan Eggs (minced pork, chinese sausage, tomato-chili relish, scallions) or the Thai breakfast classic Joke (rice porridge, poached egg, braised pork belly, pickled radish, fried garlic).

Other meatier delights include dishes like the Roast Duck Breast (figs, grapes, walnuts, pennywort, pomegranate) or Chicken Schnitzel (sauerkraut, anchovies, capers, sour cream). End it all on a sweet note with desserts including the decadent Chocolate Mousse with Hokey Pokey Shards, tangy Lemon Curd Tart and Waffles with Berry compote and house-made ricotta.

The drinks menu is curated by the Sugar Ray team, keeping it local with essences of lemongrass, pandan and lychee in a series of soda pops, milky and fruity treats designed exclusively for SIWILAI Cafe. Top non-alcoholic picks include the Lychee Soda Pops that combine the concept of soda and popsicles with local flavors like lychee, ginger and lime or the Tropical Crush, a blend of tropical flavors including pineapple juice, ripe mango and Thai basil.

SIWILAI Cafe’s coffee, exclusive to the brand, is carefully selected and blended using local beans from the north of Thailand. Try the freshly brewed Bubbly Black for a refreshing cold coffee perfect for cooling down in Bangkok’s heat.

Cocktails here are also uniquely crafted to showcase local ingredients and flavours. You will see Thai seasonal fruits popping up in various drinks, examples include the Thaipirisima (Chalong Bay Rum, pandan syrup, passionfruit) or the Mai Tai (Appleton White Rum, pineapple juice, tangerine juice, lime, brown sugar).

So whether you’re looking for a comforting family get together or a cool hangout spot to catch up with friends, the SIWILAI Café is the ultimate destination to do this over some great food and refreshing drinks. The SIWILAI Cafe is open Mon-Sun 10am-8pm at Level 5, Central Embassy.
